It has an aggresive side with other animals. Not really humans. It seems like every person that I've known thats been attacked had another dog. It's not the pit its the competiton. Yes, pit bulls can be very dangerous. So can German Shepherds and Rottweilers. I used to have a monthly meeting in a home with a pit bull -- didn't realize that's what the dog was or I might have been upset. The animal was sweet and gentle with all of us. However, the owner did say that if anyone tried to harm someone in the family the dog would definitely attack. Hope your dog has recovered. It’s really about the owner.
