Stumbled across this business blog post by Paul Glossen today. What is the nature of a great question? He opens:
We immediately notice when someone asks us a great question. The ideas flash, we become curious and we start to think on a new level. The question takes us on a search and the search leads us into new territory. We all have this ability to ask great questions and transform our business, work and life.
Reading this blog post helped me crystallize why some meetings dead-end and others sparkle with forward-thinkers actively participating. Of course, I need some time to go think about how good questions impact school library media programs not just our instruction.
